Polonaise w/ Trained Skirt

The Polonaise has a basque back, the back has an upper section overlapping a lower section with poufs.

The front buttons to the waist and falls open into two points, with pleats at the side. The sleeves are full lenght pleated bell. Thsi style was very popular in the early 1870's. The neckline can be made with square low cut front or button high at the neck.

1870's Ball Gown

The bodice is worn off the shoulders and is styled for evening wear. The waist is extended, pleated basque and a point in front. The bodice closes up the front with your choice of hooks and eyes or buttons. This gown is shown sleeveless but can also be made with small pouf sleeves. Please contact me for a quote.

The skirt is made in the Parisian style. The front has a single swag or can be made with a double. The back is made into a bouffant via strings holding the pouf into place. The back also has a very full train. This skirt is suitable for all evening events and parties.

This is a beautiful evening gown custom made for a client. It is a new designs which incorporates the train into the back of the bodice. Made from dark pewter moire taffeta trimed with over sixty individually sewn organza flowers.
